Life After Quintozene |
By Chris Marchiori, Assistant Superintendent, Wascana Country Club
A new reality is setting in for superintendents and courses throughout Saskatchewan. Ever increasing regulations are seeing the banning and restricting of various popular turf fungicides that have aided superintendents in maintaining their courses in our harsh conditions. The most recent of which to be added to this list is quintozene, which, for years, has been a popular choice among superintendents in Saskatchewan for fall fungicide applications. With the book closed on quintozene, a new chapter begins for fall application product choices.
