Seminar - June 6th, 2007! Print E-mail

The S.T.A. invites you and your Club representatives to join us for our new education program. The S.T.A. is bringing education closer to our members and anyone interested in turfgrass research. Our plans are to have four seminars per year. Zone 6 will be your host for the first program.

TOPIC:
Winter decline of turfgrasses, ie: snow mold, ice, desiccation. New diseases on the prairies. New fungicides on the market. More research performed at the PTRC.

DATE & LOCATION:
June 6th, 2007, Nipawin Evergreen Golf & Evergreen Center.


SPEAKER:
Jim Ross, Executive Director - Prairie Turfgrass Research Centre.
Jim is well known and respected for his knowledge and countless hours he has spent on turfgrass research, making our jobs easier every day. Pencil this date in your calendar!!!

FEE:
$15.00 per person (includes education, lunch, 9 holes golf & cart).

AGENDA:
9:00am - 9:45am: Registration
9:45am - 10:00am: Coffee
10:00am - 12 noon: Morning Session
12 noon - 12:30pm: Lunch
12:30pm - 2:30pm: Afternoon Session
3:00pm - 6:00pm: Golf (shotgun start, 3pm)

Pre-registration would be greatly appreciated. We need a head count for lunch.
