Role and Responsibilities:

  • Service and Maintenance of golf and park equipment ensuring all equipment preventative work is completed and report to the board on areas of concerns and expenditures needed.
  • Responsible to the Park and Golf association.
  • Maintain and manage day activities of summer students
  • Responsible for the cutting, spraying and appearance of the golf course. Set up schedule.
  • Aeration and Fertilizing or the greens and Fairways
  • Champion the safety program and ensure the safety of your direct reports through training and monitoring of tasks.
  • Work closely with the Park and Golf association with capital and operational expenditures provide feedback on these projects and Tracking on progress
  • Be involved with the Golf Association Meetings and be prepared to present improvements or changes you would like to see and answer any questions on upcoming events and overall operations of the Course
  • Be Mindful and Respectful of our Members and Nonmembers a professional and respective work place is necessary, Work closely with other staff and park members. Stuart a good team environment.
  • Be available on days when Tournaments and functions are being ran through the course
  • 2-3 years’ experience running or co-managing day to day activities

Preferred Skills:
Diploma in Turf Maintenance or working to completion. Computer skills to handle bookings and software to run watering program.

Level/Salary Range:
$25-$45 a Hour depending on candidate. Housing will be supplemented
