I’ve heard most courses in the province are in excellent condition. It is beginning to get quite dry in the Saskatoon area, with less than an inch of rain compared with over 5” in June.

August 3-8 Riverside Country Club and Saskatoon Golf and Country Club are co-hosting the Canadian Amateur Golf Championship.  Both courses are in great condition and should provide a challenge for the top amateurs in the country along with many international players.

The Don Campbell Research Tournament in Prince Albert at the Cooke Municipal is coming up in a few weeks. Register early as it will be a fun event at one of the top courses in the province. You can either register as a team or as an individual.  It’s for a worthy cause and we raise up to $10,000 annually toward Turfgrass Research. – REGISTRATION DEADLINE AUGUST 12 (FIRM).

Hope everyone weathers well for the remainder of summer.  Make sure you allot some time for yourselves and family along the way as it can be a tough grind at times.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Cooke in Prince Albert!
