Jason Thorhaug know from a very young age we forever be involved in golf.

In 1999, Jason enrolled in Turf Management at Olds College in Alberta and worked at Innisfail Golf Club for the 2000 season, receiving his diploma in 2001.

The social will be Tuesday, November 5th at “Sports on Tap” starting at 7:00 pm.

This year we are very fortunate to have one of the most outstanding speakers in our industry. He is a “can’t miss” presenter on many turfgrass topics. An agenda for the 2 days is as follows:

Tuesday, November 5th—7:00 pm - Social Evening at “Sports on Tap” 2606 Lorne Ave, Saskatoon. We supply the food, you buy the drinks. It’s loads of fun.

Wednesday, November 6th—Wind Up and AGM

  • 12:30 pm—banquet
  • 1:45 pm—Annual General Meeting

Biography—Matt Nelson

Matt Nelson is co-owner of Majic Valley Bentgrass (a commercial putting green sod farm), international marketing manager for Grigg Brothers Folier Fertilzers, an independent agronomist and golf design consultant, and an executive with Rocky Mountain Golf Services. He has worked in the golf turf industry for 28 years including 12 years as senior agronomist for the USGA Green Section, North West region.
