Although the golf season started later than most years, above normal temperatures in May have most courses in great condition for the time of year. It has been very dry throughout the province and in the Saskatoon area we’ve had 0 amount of precipitation in May. The South Saskatchewan River is as low as I can remember in the past 50 years.

I’m looking forward to the educational day and golf at Humboldt Golf Course on June 13. The seminar on Mental Health in the Workplace should prove to be very informative and give us great information to use, so please register early, either online, phone or email. We are awaiting approval for this seminar to qualify for CEC points as well.

Blaine Fagnou of Elk Ridge will be hosting the Saskatchewan Open, a Canadian PGA Tour Event June 19-25. Last years event was cancelled cue to unplayable conditions after heavy rains. Hopefully the weather cooperates this year.

If you are interested in an STA hat or hoodie, please order online this week, as the deadline is Friday May 26.

It’s an extremely busy time of year for all of us and this season we seem to have gone from 0-100 km/hr in days. I wish everyone the best in getting their properties in top notch condition. It’s hard to believe we’ve only been open for approximately 3 weeks.
