Better late than never.  After a long dry season some timely rain fell in mid August to early September. It’s been a warm early start to fall with virtually no frost as of yet.

It was good to see a great turnout at the Research Tournament. Almost 90 people made the long drive down to Kenosee. It was my first time down to that area and both courses did not disappoint. White Bear and Kenosee were in wonderful condition and the weather was perfect. Thank you to Larry Palmer and Kelvin Van Winkoop for being such great hosts.  Many thanks go out to our corporate sponsors who always come through for us and make our events so successful.

A very busy season is winding down with only 5 week or so left to go and winter prep has already started.

Things are being finalized for the Fall Windup to be held at the Royal Regina Golf Club November 7 & 8.  It will have an excellent speaker program with social networking and our AGM, so be sure to attend.

I hope everything goes well for the end of the season and look forward to seeing you all at the Fall Windup.
